Attending Veterinary Medical Marketing Presentation

Veterinary Medical Marketing Presentation

I had a chance to attend a Southern California Veterinary Medical Association: SCVMA veterinary marketing presentation in March. This was in Long Beach, CA. I found it quite interesting. However, they did not want me to get any photos or video so the visuals on this post are not that enticing. While I talk with a lot of receptionist at animal hospitals, a few office managers, and have a friend to is a veterinarian, I am not always aware of the nuances and marketing challenges they face.

In the late 90s and early 2000s I had a very active marketing website that sent millions of dollars to some of the larger animal hospitals. I know because I knew the regional manager for the group and she would give me information about how many people came from my website. From this information I am guessing it sent hundreds of thousands of dollars worth of business to the independent animal hospitals.

I am working on a new project that may end up also being a good marketing venue pet the industry. While I don’t think it will rival my old website, I do think it has the potential to be helpful for several pet industry verticals.

A very short video transcription:

Yes I am, Andrew Ledford. Today we are at Dave & Buster’s at a Southern California Medical Veterinary Association meeting. I think that’s the official name. So let’s go on in there and see what they have going on today. Come on, let’s go!
