The Rhyme That Came From a Dream, at the Euclid Library Anaheim CA
The second time I performed this presentation was at the Euclid Library in Anaheim. Here is the first time. The beginning of the talk starts with what I believe was the catalysis for the rhyme. I think Sigmund Freud would have called this a type of day residue.
Another observation is that I did it the same way I performed it the first time. The first time I did this little talk I had no real format and only had the written parts planned. It looks like I now have a fairly well established pattern. But this narrative format seems to make sense to me. It needs to connect a lot of different ideas in an easy to follow story.
First there is the problem = not having anything to say at an open mic event. Then a rather novel solution, then a little background on an unknown element of the rhyme. Finally we get to the rhyme. But it’s not done yet. There needs to be an explanation of what really happened. I want to put the main event in context and show how the unknown job of a not well known person had an impact on history that few people know about.
